The ‘Kuchiku’ friend at last received the award named after ‘Kuchiku’ friend on Wednesday morning. That is Dr Vishnuvardhana Life Time Achievement award instituted by Karnataka government was bestowed after four months of awards celebration in Dharwad at the residence of Dr Ambarish, Home Minister of Karnataka.

Dr Vishnuvardhana and Dr Vishnuvardhana were declared ‘Kuchiku’ friends after the song in ‘Diggajaru’. Dr Vishnuvardhana award declared by government of Karnataka was announced by Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana award panel that was later taken over by SK Bhagwan committee. But the prominent awards were untouched by SK Bhagwan committee that came up after court verdict.

At the JP residence of Dr Ambarish, Sumalatha Ambarish received the Karnataka Information Minister Roshan Baig, Karnataka information director Vishukumar, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Anirudh and Keerthivardhana were present.

The trophy of Lifetime achievement was handed over by Roshan Baig while the cheque of Rs.2 lakhs was handed over by Dr Bharati Vishnuvardhana to Dr Ambarish.
